Samsung has announced that it will hold its next Galaxy Unpacked event in July, where it is expected to reveal its first smart ring – the Galaxy Ring. Recent reports suggest that the Galaxy Ring will feature a charging method similar to popular wireless earbuds – a dedicated carrying case. This design choice ensures the ring is protected and stored securely when not in use, making it ideal for travel.

The Galaxy Ring, available in platinum silver, ceramic black, and gold, has been designed to be lightweight, durable, and comfortable for everyday wear. It features a concave design and is available in sizes 5 to 13. The device includes a compact battery with a capacity ranging from 14.5mAh to 21.5mAh. Samsung’s Hon Pak has confirmed that the Galaxy Ring will track various health metrics using its built-in sensor array, including heart rate, respiratory rate, sleep movement, and sleep onset time. Additionally, the ring will support cycle and fertility tracking through integration with the Natural Cycles app.

With a battery life of up to nine days on a single charge, the Samsung Galaxy Ring promises to be a versatile and reliable wearable device for users seeking to monitor their health and wellness efficiently.
