On May 31st, the Salem VA Health Care System of Veterans Affairs will be hosting a Veterans Job Fair for veterans and their family members. The job fair will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in building 5 of the Salem VA Medical Center.
A group of six veteran-focused community programs has organized the event, which will feature 20 employers in attendance at the Salem VA Medical Center. Some of the companies participating in the job fair include Advance Auto, Carilion Clinic, City of Roanoke, Lowe’s, Virginia Tech and many more.
This is an excellent opportunity for veterans and their family members to connect with potential employers and explore job opportunities in the area. The event will provide valuable networking opportunities and resources for those looking to enter or re-enter the workforce.
