In the early hours of Saturday morning, a customer in Sacramento allegedly stabbed an employee at a business located on 16th Street. According to police reports, the incident took place around 3:45 a.m. and resulted in the victim sustaining non-life-threatening injuries.

Following the report, police quickly arrived on the scene and apprehended the suspect, identified as 54-year-old Anthony Smith of Sacramento. Smith was then taken into custody and charged with assault with a deadly weapon, carrying a concealed dirk or dagger, and resisting or obstructing an officer.
