On the night of June 21, several regions in Russia were targeted by drone attacks. The affected areas included Crimea, Krasnodar Territory, Bryansk, and Volgograd. According to reports from the authorities in Krasnodar, Ukrainian ATS drones were responsible for the mass attack.

Fortunately, all attacks were successfully repelled but not without casualties and damage. Governor Veniamin Kondratev of Krasnodar announced that a boiler house and “Yuzhny” bus station in Krasnodar sustained damage from the destroyed drones. Tragically, an employee of the boiler house lost their life, and four others were injured in the attacks. An unmanned aerial vehicle crashed at an oil refinery in the Seversk region causing damage to administrative buildings and igniting a fire that was eventually extinguished. Two individuals were injured in this incident.

Videos of the explosions and fires caused by the drone attacks were shared on Russian and Ukrainian Telegram channels by residents living in the affected regions. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that over a hundred Ukrainian drones had been captured and destroyed including those in Crimea, Krasnodar Territory, and Volgograd Region but there was no mention of any unaccounted-for drones or their potential consequences.

As of now, Ukraine has not provided any official comments regarding these reports. The situation remains tense as both countries continue to monitor and address the aftermath of the drone attacks.
