The latest player rankings for 5×5 leagues are now available, and I am excited to share with you my top 300 overall players. However, it took some time to find a new No. 1 overall player as many top pitchers have been injured, leaving only about 120 players capable of hitting right now in the majors.

In my third baseman rankings for ROS (Rest of Season), some players have dropped off from the previous rankings such as Ernie Clement, Nick Madrigal, Tyler Nevin and Eguy Rosario. However Christopher Morel has shown improvement in his strikeout and walk rates this season despite having a low average of .195 due to a .205 BABIP. Nevertheless his exit velocity remains strong which suggests that he should be batting higher than his current mark. The Cubs have shown faith in him by keeping him in the cleanup spot and I am not dropping him from my rankings yet.
On the other hand Andre Lipcius is a recent acquisition from the Tigers organization that has been performing well in Triple-A Oklahoma City with a slash line of .318/.389/.594 along with 14 homers and six steals. Although he may not be as strong at second base compared to Gavin Lux he deserves consideration given the struggles of other Dodgers players at that position like Chris Taylor and Enrique Hernandez who haven’t justified their regular at-bats yet making Lipcius an intriguing option for fantasy managers looking for a potential breakout player.
