Despite his success in learning the offense, rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels remains humble and recognizes that there is still much work to be done before proving himself as a franchise quarterback. Head coach Dan Quinn praised Daniels for his confidence, understanding of the team’s playbook, and awareness of the challenges ahead.

According to Quinn, Daniels has the attitude of a franchise quarterback but needs to continue performing well during training camp and preseason games to secure his spot as the starting quarterback for the team’s first game against the Buccaneers in Week One. The Commanders have yet to announce their starting quarterback for the upcoming season, but if Daniels continues on this path, he could earn the role.
