However, it was not enough as Al Hilal emerged victorious in the penalty shootout, completing the Saudi treble after already winning the Super Cup and the Saudi Pro League title.
Al Nassr finished second in the league behind Al Hilal and previously lost to them in the Super Cup. Despite Ronaldo’s impressive record-breaking performance of scoring 35 goals in the Pro League, his only silverware with Al Nassr is the Arab Club Champions Cup from last year. His contract with Al Nassr will end at the conclusion of next season.
