Roma’s Surprise Bid for Nice Midfielder Thuram: Will Juventus Let Him Go?

Nice midfielder Khéphren Thuram is set to enter the final year of his contract, making him a potential target for clubs looking to sign him at a discounted price. Juventus, led by sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli, have been exploring the possibility of signing Thuram and may include Arkadiusz Milik in a potential player-plus-cash deal.

However, Roma has also entered the mix and believes they have an advantage in the race for Thuram’s signature. The recently appointed sporting director, Florent Ghisolfi, previously worked for Nice and is familiar with Thuram and his contractual situation.

Calciomercato.com reports that Roma has launched their challenge to Juventus for Thuram and is actively pursuing the midfielder. The 23-year-old is the younger brother of Inter striker Marcus Thuram and the son of former Parma and Juventus defender Lilian Thuram.
