Zeki Celik, a right back for Roma, is said to be of interest to Galatasaray this summer. The 27-year-old has had limited playing time under both Jose Mourinho and Daniele De Rossi, with only 663 minutes in 17 Serie A matches this season. This lack of consistent playing time has led to him being deemed surplus to requirements at Roma.

With Daniele De Rossi looking to revamp the Roma squad and start a new project, it is expected that a number of players, including Celik, will be leaving the club. Despite having two years left on his contract with Roma, it seems likely that he will be on the move in the upcoming transfer window.

According to reports in Corriere dello Sport, Galatasaray tried to negotiate a deal for Celik in January but were unable to reach an agreement with Roma. However, the Turkish club is now looking to reignite their interest in the right back and are hoping to secure his services in the coming weeks. Rome is said to be looking for around €7 million for Celik, with 15% of the transfer fee going to Lille due to a future resale clause.
