Roma is interested in signing 19-year-old Newcastle player Yankuba Minteh, and they may receive assistance from Everton in acquiring the young wide man. The Italian club’s new Sporting Director, Florent Ghisolfi, has been tasked with finding top-tier young talent for coach Daniele De Rossi at affordable prices, and Minteh fits this requirement perfectly.

Minteh joined Newcastle from Danish club Odense in 2023 for €8M before being loaned out to Feyenoord for the entire previous season. Recent reports suggest that Newcastle is open to selling Minteh for around €30M, which has prompted interest from Roma, Marseille, Borussia Dortmund, and Everton. If Everton’s owner, Dan Friedkin, finalizes his takeover of the club, there is a possibility that he could purchase Minteh for the Premier League side and then loan him back to Roma. This strategy would align with Ghisolfi’s goal of securing young talent at reasonable prices for the Italian club.
