The Rochester City Council has recently approved an Operations and Programming Services agreement with Oak View Group/Sports Academy for the Regional Sports & Recreation Complex. As part of the agreement, Oak View will assist with the design and construction phases of the project. The City of Rochester is confident in Oak View’s ability to contribute their relevant experience to the construction of the complex.

City Administrator Alison Zelms expressed excitement about the partnership with Oak View Group/Sports Academy and their strong portfolio of venues nationwide. She believes that Oak View’s knowledge and experience will be valuable as they move forward with the project.

The $65 million project will cover construction, soft costs, and site acquisition. Currently, the City of Rochester is in the process of selecting and acquiring a site for the new facility. Their goal is to have a multi-sport indoor/outdoor complex open by late 2026.
