In recent news, Robert Kennedy Jr, the nephew of former President JFK and an independent candidate in the upcoming November presidential election, has been dealing with serious health issues due to a parasite in his brain. The parasite has caused him to experience “obvious cognitive problems” as well as both long-term and short-term memory loss.

Back in 2012, during a deposition from a divorce case, Robert Kennedy Jr revealed that doctors had diagnosed him with a parasite in his brain that had eaten away part of it before dying. This happened more than ten years ago after a trip to Africa, South America, or Asia. Despite this health scare, a spokesperson for the candidate has assured that Robert Kennedy Jr is now in very good physical and mental health.

In addition to the parasite, Robert Kennedy Jr also suffered from mercury poisoning at one point, which can also cause neurological problems. These revelations come amid the ongoing presidential election campaign, with Robert Kennedy Jr now facing scrutiny over his health compared to his older opponents, Joe Biden and Donald Trump. However, despite these challenges, Robert Kennedy Jr remains determined to continue his campaign for the presidency.
