In terms of third baseman rankings, there have been a few notable drops off the list including Trey Lipscomb, Jared Triolo, Vidal Bruján, Andre Lipcius and Ezequiel Duran. However, one player to watch closely is Deyvison De Los Santos who had a breakout season in the minors hitting .346/.396/.678 with 25 homers in just 73 games between Double- and Triple-A. Although he was originally drafted as a first baseman by the Diamondbacks organization, there may be some regret over not keeping him as a Rule 5 pick. While he may not be able to replace Eugenio Suárez’s position with the Diamondbacks team, if an opening roster spot becomes available and the team decides to sell at the deadline, there is still potential for him to make an impact.
