Michael Penix is a promising young quarterback who had an impressive college football career, culminating in an appearance in the College Football Playoff National Championship as the quarterback for Kalen DeBoer and the Washington Huskies. After being drafted in the first round by the Atlanta Falcons, Penix is poised to become a future star in the NFL.

Throughout his college career, Penix played under DeBoer for three seasons, spending one year with the Indiana Hoosiers in 2019 before transferring to Washington for the next two seasons. Recently, a photo surfaced on social media showing Penix visiting the Alabama Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa, where DeBoer is now coaching. Despite never having played for Alabama, Penix’s visit demonstrates his loyalty to his former coach by helping out on a busy recruiting weekend.
