As the NBA draft approaches at the end of the month, players are engaging in workouts and meetings with teams and executives. Krysten Peek, Yahoo Sports NBA draft analyst, has revealed her latest top five picks in her mock draft for this month.

One player’s remarkable performance has propelled him to the number one spot. French wing Zachary Rica has been impressive during the LNB pro A playoffs for Borgen Bross, showcasing his skills and talent on the court. His defensive versatility, size, and outside shooting have set him apart from other prospects in this class, making him a valuable asset for any team.

Following Rica in the mock draft is 7-foot-1 center Alex Sr, who is projected to be picked by the Washington Wizards at number two. Known for his shot-blocking abilities and perimeter defense, Alex Sr has shown promise on both ends of the floor. UConn guard Stefan Castle comes in at number three for the Houston Rockets, with his defensive prowess and offensive improvements making him a standout player in this draft.

Kentucky guard Reed Shepherd is pegged as the fourth pick for the San Antonio Spurs, bringing playmaking skills and shooting accuracy to the team. Lastly, French wing Jean Salon rounds out the top five as a potential pick for the Detroit Pistons. Salon’s three-point shooting and defensive length could provide much-needed support for the Pistons as they continue their rebuilding process.
