In Berlin, a series of heavy riots broke out before the “Euroleague Final Four” basketball classic between Panathinaikos Athens and Fenerbahce Istanbul. The first disturbance occurred at Alexanderplatz, where 70 individuals engaged in a skirmish resulting in vehicle damage. Supporters of the two clubs are known to be enemies.

Shortly after, a more serious riot occurred at the Uber Arena, where 80 hooligans breached barriers, attacked stewards, and possessed weapons such as knives, batons, and machetes. Several thousand people gathered outside the Uber Arena, with rival fan groups attacking each other and using pyrotechnics and throwing bottles.

Police presence was increased in an attempt to control the situation and eject troublemakers. All hooligans involved were later expelled and banned from entering the arena for the match. The game was delayed by ten minutes as a result of the disturbances.

After efforts were made to ensure safety and security at the event, ticket offices were opened for the match. This incident highlights the intense rivalry and tensions between fan groups from Greece and Turkey. Despite this, efforts were made to ensure that everyone who attended had a safe and enjoyable experience.
