Sonoma Raceway will host the NASCAR weekend, starting with a 50-minute practice session for both the Cup and Xfinity Series on Friday. This session is crucial for teams to prepare for qualifying on Saturday at the road course. The Xfinity Series will race on Saturday evening while the Cup Series will race on Sunday afternoon.

Joe Gibbs Racing, who claimed both the pole position and victory last year, will be looking to repeat their success this year. The weekend weather forecast for Sonoma includes mostly sunny skies with a high of 77 degrees and wind gusts of 10-15 mph.

The race schedule for the Sonoma Raceway weekend is as follows: On Friday, the garage will open at 10:30 a.m. for ARCO Menards Series West teams, while Xfinity and Cup Series teams will have track activity from 1 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., including ARCO West practice and qualifying as well as Xfinity and Cup practice sessions. The ARCO West race, consisting of 64 laps and 127.36 miles, will take place at 6:30 p.m., broadcast on FloRacing; Fans can catch Xfinity practice on FS1 and Cup practice on FS1, Performance Racing Network, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
