CULT Food Science Corp.’s subsidiary, Further Foods Inc., has filed two Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) applications for its Bmmune™ and Bflora™ ingredients, as well as its proprietary freeze drying process used in the Noochies! pet treat line. This move will provide the company with patent protection in more than 150 countries.

Bmmune™ is a blend of nutritional yeast and fermented ingredients that aims to meet the protein needs of dogs and cats while also promoting gut health and immune defense. On the other hand, Bflora™ is made from probiotic bacteria to support a healthy gastrointestinal tract in pets. These components make Noochies! a revolutionary product in the cultivated pet food market, according to the company.

Mitchell Scott, CEO of CULT Food Science, highlighted this achievement as significant for the company. He emphasized the innovative nature of the Noochies! product line and their commitment to bringing cutting-edge solutions to the pet food industry. Additionally, Scott stressed that pet foods containing farmed animal meat contribute significantly to greenhouse gas emissions annually, making it essential to focus on plant-based alternatives like those offered by Further Foods.

In other developments, Noochies! products are now available on 18 online marketplaces, including Walmart, Kroger, and Amazon. The company has partnered with Valet Seller to enhance visibility and availability of Noochies! on e-commerce platforms. Scott stated that expanding Noochies!’s presence on major online marketplaces is crucial for making it more accessible to a wider audience and driving growth while increasing shareholder value.

Overall, CULT Food Science’s efforts towards innovation and sustainability have led them to achieve significant milestones in the pet food industry with their subsidiary Further Foods Inc., providing plant-based alternatives for pets that promote health and protect the environment.
