EA Sports has released a highly anticipated video game, “Madden NFL 25,” which features San Francisco 49ers star running back Christian McCaffrey on the cover. The game introduces new physics technology that provides users with more control over tackling and ball carrier movements.

The trailer showcases the new “BOOM Tech” system, which is designed to create more dynamic and authentic physical outcomes. The physics-based system takes into account various factors such as timing, momentum, weight, speed, strength, and player ratings to provide players with more control over their gameplay.

Players can expect to see new Steelers quarterback Justin Fields in action during the game, as he is featured in the trailer returning a kickoff. Despite rumors and speculation about Fields possibly joining the special teams unit this season, the former Bear has stated that he is not interested in doing so. However, Madden NFL 25 may just reveal otherwise.

The game’s website explains that the new data-driven physics system enhances the 1-on-1 ball carrier impact, leading to a wider variety of explosive and realistic results when tackling or using the hit stick feature. Additionally, a new “Balance and Recovery System” has been introduced for running backs, giving players more flexibility to stay on their feet based on the quality of the tackle attempt and the skill level of the ball carrier.

Madden NFL 25 will be released on August 16th.
