Israeli start-up Revealense, founded in 2021 by CEO Dov Donin, has been working under the radar until now. The company, which is self-funded and employs 10 people in Petah Tikva, has developed a technological solution called illuminator that uses AI and deep learning to analyze human behavior captured on video.

The illuminator system analyzes physiological characteristics that change during photography due to involuntary nervous system responses and tracks emotional and mental states in real time. It creates a mental DNA of the photographed person, providing managers, researchers, and psychologists with accurate insights for decision-making. One of the key features of illuminator is its ethical and responsible AI model that eliminates bias and discrimination based on cultural influences. Another patented feature is the integration of neural networks for cross-referencing various parameters to ensure accurate results.

Revealense’s technology addresses growing markets in mental health institutions, public security bodies, and deepfake detection. The mental health market is projected to reach $20 billion in the US by 2027 with a 30% annual growth rate. Public security and deepfake detection markets are also expected to grow significantly, with potential financial volumes of $20 billion and $40 billion in the US respectively. Revealense already has clients worldwide in these markets, providing innovative solutions for identifying mental states, ensuring reliability, and detecting deepfake videos.
