The robot uses a virtual map created from CT scans taken during screenings to navigate the lungs and provide real-time visuals of the bronchial tubes as the catheter is inserted. It is programmed to be cautious, avoiding contact with the internal walls of the patient and assisting doctors in safely obtaining samples.
