The new lab facility at Cayuga Health’s Ithaca Mall location will open on July 8, offering patients the convenience of having their lab work done on-site. Located at 40 Catherwood Road, the facility is slightly larger than a football field and designed to consolidate primary care, cardiology, and rheumatology services for ease of access.
According to Jeffrey Penoyer, COO of Cayuga Medical Associates, the strategic placement of the lab within the Ithaca Mall facility streamlines the healthcare experience for patients and improves their access to timely medical attention. The new lab will be open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., while lab services will continue to be available at other Cayuga Health locations.
