Amflow, an eMTB manufacturer, has unveiled their latest product, the Amflow PL in collaboration with DJI. The bike weighs just 19.2 kg and is powered by the Avinox Drive System developed by DJI. The products were showcased at the Eurobike 2024 mobility fair in Frankfurt (Germany), where other companies such as Acer also participated.

The Amflow PL is a highly efficient eMTB that offers an ultra-lightweight design with a carbon fiber frame that weighs only 2.27 kg. It is designed for the ultimate riding experience with a frame structure that is compatible with both 27.5″ and 29″ wheels. The bike also features an OLED touch screen with a two-inch color display that can be adjusted via Bluetooth with a mobile phone.

The Amflow PL includes several advanced features to enhance pedaling efficiency, including a four-bar mechanism to reduce pedal kickback and improve pedaling performance, as well as a rear shock absorber developed in collaboration with FOX. The bike offers bottom-out assistance to prevent bottoming out during high-speed impacts or steep descents, making it ideal for riding on unpaved terrain.

DJI’s Avinox Drive System powers the Amflow PL and provides lightweight battery options with high energy density. It offers torque of 105 Nm and four standard assistance modes: Auto, Eco, Trail, and Turbo. The system automatically adjusts assistance based on pedaling resistance and features a Boost mode for tackling steep slopes with ease.

The Amflow PL will be available in the fourth quarter of 2024 through distributors in Germany, the UK, Australia, and other countries
