ChargePoint Technology has recently introduced a new robotic material handling solution specifically designed for solid dosage drug manufacturing. This innovative robotics solution aims to enhance safety and efficiency within the production process.

The primary goal of this new solution is to increase efficiency for manufacturers seeking to automate and modernize their production processes. Whether it involves upgrading existing lines to incorporate semi-continuous cells or transitioning to fully autonomous manufacturing, the robotics solution offers a flexible and adaptable approach.

By utilizing the new PuroGrip, PuroVaso containers, and the ChargePoint SBV, manufacturers can enhance their manufacturing practices. The robotic system eliminates manual intervention, addressing ergonomic concerns and decreasing the likelihood of cross-contamination from personnel.

Through the development of the robotic PuroGrip, a seamless connection is established between robotic arms and ChargePoint’s lightweight PuroVaso containers. This integration creates a contained solution for material transfer by docking the containers into ChargePoint’s automated Split Butterfly Valve.

Chris Eccles, CEO of ChargePoint Technology, emphasized the importance of contained robotic powder handling in advancing the industry. As more customers seek solutions to optimize their production processes, ChargePoint remains committed to providing cutting-edge technology that prioritizes speed, quality, and safety in meeting the evolving manufacturing needs of its clients.
