At the international event ‘Conversations’ held in São Paulo, Brazil, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg unveiled new AI tools for WhatsApp Business to improve customer interactions and provide faster responses to common queries. These AI-powered features will assist companies in selling their products and services, creating ads for social media platforms, and following up with customers to increase engagement and conversions.
In addition to these new features, Meta introduced Meta Verified for business accounts on WhatsApp. This service provides account verification and protection against identity theft for companies in Brazil, Indonesia, and Colombia. Companies can now register for Meta Verified, which includes a badge confirming their identity and additional functions for content creators and organizations.
Meta plans to expand the Meta Verified service to more companies and countries soon. As part of these developments, WhatsApp will enable users to make direct calls to large companies from chat for personalized customer support. This feature is currently being tested and will be rolled out to more companies soon.
Overall, these new AI-powered features in WhatsApp Business along with the introduction of Meta Verified are designed to enhance the customer experience, streamline business operations, and provide additional security measures for businesses using the platform.
