Ian Kline from Cadmus and Riverside Technology, Inc. has recently secured a multi-million dollar contract to support the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) under the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The contract will provide science and engagement support services to meet NCEI’s mandates in the Inflation Reduction Act and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

As part of Team Riverside, Cadmus will utilize its expertise in climate, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement to enhance NOAA’s service delivery. Additionally, Cadmus will work on prototyping, developing, and releasing new data and services for climate risk analyses.

Cadmus’s President and CEO expressed pride in leading the national user engagement effort on behalf of NOAA as part of Team Riverside. He emphasized that the project will offer essential resources to help underserved communities and priority sectors of the U.S. economy across all states and territories to adapt to and become more resilient to climate risks and impacts.

Under this contract, Cadmus will take the lead in user engagement on behalf of the Riverside team through NCEI’s Industry Proving Grounds. This initiative aims to connect with end-users and ensure equitable access to actionable climate data by engaging with six sectors of the economy each year through numerous interviews, events, surveys, and other activities.

This task order award is one of several agreements that Cadmus has secured under the ProTech Satellites 2.0 IDIQ vehicle, highlighting their expertise and success in working on projects related to climate risk analyses and service delivery enhancements for NOAA and other government agencies.
