Audrey MacLean, a talented athlete from Redwood High in Tiburon, has recently placed fourth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the USA Track & Field under-20 Championships in Eugene, Ore. MacLean, who is currently studying at Middlebury College, finished the race with a time of 10 minutes and 36.95 seconds. This impressive achievement marks her fourth consecutive race finishing in under 10:40.

During her time at Redwood High, MacLean was widely regarded as one of the top distance runners in the county. In her senior season of 2023, she finished second in both the 1,600 and 3,200 races. Additionally, she secured the MCAL cross country title as a junior and finished second as a senior. MacLean also claimed sixth place in the prestigious Dipsea Race that year.

MacLean’s success on both high school and college athletic circuits highlights her talent and dedication to track and field. She continues to excel and make a name for herself on the competitive running scene.
