The Mowi Premiership match between Caberfeidh and Lochaber was a high-scoring affair, with Caberfeidh emerging victorious 10-5. Craig Morrison led the way for Caberfeidh, scoring six goals, including a double hat-trick, to help his team secure the win. Several matches were postponed over the weekend due to players being unavailable due to international duties. However, some games did take place. Kinlochshiel made a comeback from behind to defeat Lovat 3-1 in one such game. Cammy MacMillan opened the scoring for Lovat but Kinlochshiel took advantage of Martin Mainland’s red card to score three more goals through Keith, John and Archie MacRae. Newtonmore also won 1-0 against Skye thanks to Iain Robinson finding the back of the net with the decisive goal.

With these results, Caberfeidh and Kinlochshiel moved up in the standings, leapfrogging Lovat into second and third places respectively behind leaders Kingussie who still have two games in hand. In other matches, Fort William claimed a narrow victory over Bute in the National League while Kilmallie defeated Inveraray 2-1 in a closely contested Balliemore Cup encounter. Skye’s second team won 6-0 at Kilmallie while Newtonmore secured a victory over Glasgow Mid Argyll by winning 2-1 and Fort William edged out Inveraray 5-4 in yet another close match.
