Jude Bellingham has been named La Liga’s Player of the Season after an outstanding first year in Spain. The 20-year-old midfielder played a crucial role in helping Real Madrid secure the title with a 10-point lead. Bellingham scored 19 goals in the league, including four goals in the Champions League, where Real Madrid reached the final and is set to face Borussia Dortmund at Wembley.

In a vote by fans, club captains, and experts, Bellingham beat out other top players like Vinicius Jr., Antoine Griezmann, Artem Dovbyk, and Robert Lewandowski to win the prestigious award. Before moving to Real Madrid for a record-breaking fee, Bellingham was also named the Bundesliga Player of the Season while playing for Borussia Dortmund.

Unfortunately, Bellingham was unable to attend the ceremony due to preparation for the Champions League final. However, he expressed his gratitude to his teammates, coaching staff, and fans of Real Madrid for their support. With 29 caps for England and three international goals under his belt, Bellingham is expected to play a crucial role at Euro 2024 in Germany. England’s first match will be against Serbia on June 16th in Gelsenkirchen.
