At Misano, Toprak Razgatlioglu secured a perfect hat-trick of wins for Ducati, further solidifying his lead in the WorldSBK title race. Despite starting in fifth place, the new BMW star quickly made his way to the front of the pack. Nicolo Bulega set an impressive early pace, but Razgatlioglu caught up to him and passed him before widening the gap once again.

After a thrilling race, Razgatlioglu crossed the finish line with a huge stoppie, reducing his winning margin to 2.980s. Reigning champion Alvaro Bautista overcame a low starting position of 11th to secure a spot on the podium behind Bulega. Kawasaki’s Alex Lowes followed closely behind Bautista in fourth place, with Yamaha’s Andrea Locatelli and a gutsy performance by the injured Danilo Petrucci rounding out the top positions.

With this victory, Razgatlioglu now holds a 21-point lead over Bulega in the championship standings, with Bautista trailing 24 points behind in third place. The next round of the World Superbike series will take place at Donington Park in July 2024.
