Snoop Dogg recently took part in a 200m exhibition race at the US Olympic trials, wearing an American flag tracksuit and a Team USA shirt honoring Kobe Bryant. Despite finishing third behind former Olympic medalist Ato Boldon and two-time NCAA champion Wallace Spearmon, Snoop was satisfied with his performance, posting a respectable time of 34.44 seconds for a 52-year-old.

After the race, Snoop expressed surprise at the hurdle leaping nature of the event but found it amusing and engaging. He was dubbed as “ELECTRIC” by NBC’s X account for his unique take on the trials, providing entertainment for viewers as he described the men’s 3000m steeplechase. Snoop will be heading to Paris as a Special Correspondent for NBC’s Games coverage and will join host Mike Tirico.

The US trials have been exciting so far, with stars like Sha’Carri Richardson and Noah Lyles qualifying for the summer Games. Snoop thanked world-class athletes for a fun weekend, expressing his respect for them and looking forward to seeing them in Paris.
