The 2024 World Cup Downhill series is well underway, with the fifth round taking place over the weekend. The Elite Women category saw some exciting racing, with Myriam Nicole taking first place with a time of 4:16.007. Lisa Baumann came in second, while Gloria Scarsi finished in third.
In the Elite Men’s category, Amaury Pierron clinched the top spot with a time of 3:36.878. Finn Iles finished in second, and Loic Bruni took third place.
The Junior Women’s category was also highly competitive, with Erice Van Leuven securing first place with a time of 4:33.924. Ella Svegby came in second, while Sacha Mills finished in third.
Meanwhile, the Pinkbike Fantasy Downhill League in Association with Five Ten is ongoing, giving participants a chance to win prizes. The contest is open to legal residents of Australia, Canada (except for the Province of Québec), Germany, United Kingdom and 50 United States and DC who are at least 18 years old on March 18th 2024 until October 6th 2024 . Winners will receive prizes in their local currency and details on eligibility requirements and how to play can be found in the official rules . The contest is void in Quebec province where it’s prohibited and Outside Interactive is the sponsor.
