As the French champions look to reinforce their defense this summer, Paris Saint-Germain is making a strong push to secure Feyenoord defender Lutsharel Geertruida. Alongside Edmond Tapsoba from Bayer Leverkusen and Leny Yoro from Lille, Geertruida has been identified as one of PSG’s top three options.

However, Liverpool has also expressed interest in the Dutch defender, posing a threat to PSG’s pursuit. Geertruida previously played under Arne Slot at Feyenoord and was even spotted attending Liverpool’s match against West Ham in April. This has fueled speculation about a potential move to Anfield. Other English clubs are also reportedly interested in bringing Geertruida to the Premier League, given his impressive performances in the Eredivisie last season.

Despite not having made a formal offer yet, renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano has disclosed that PSG is in talks with Geertruida to agree on personal terms before proceeding with negotiations. This indicates that PSG is serious about securing his services for the upcoming season.
