Power Sustainable Lios, a specialized agri-food private equity platform affiliated with Power Sustainable, has invested in Food Cycle Science to support their growth in Canada and internationally.
With offices in Toronto and Montreal, Power Sustainable Lios is committed to promoting sustainability within the food system. The firm is affiliated with Power Sustainable, a climate-focused investment subsidiary of Power Corporation of Canada. Jonathan Belair, managing partner of Power Sustainable Lios expressed his excitement about partnering with Food Cycle Science to tackle the environmental impact of the food waste crisis. He highlighted the importance of the company’s innovative technology in improving the food waste management experience for individuals and businesses while also reducing over-capacity in landfills. No financial terms of the investment were disclosed.
