Negotiations are currently underway for Chelsea to sign 18-year-old Nigerian striker Hafiz Umar Ibrahim from Ojodu City. Ibrahim has been on trial in west London for nearly two months and is now expected to make a permanent move to the club.

During his time on trial, Ibrahim impressed Chelsea by scoring 10 goals in six matches at a youth tournament in the Viareggio Cup in Italy earlier this year. Standing at 6ft 2in, he describes himself as a target man similar to Romelu Lukaku. If the deal goes through, Ibrahim could potentially join Chelsea’s partner club Strasbourg in France.

Chelsea are also working on finalizing a deal to sign midfielder Pape Daouda Diong, who joined the club last year from a Senegalese club. The young midfielder has been highly impressed by Chelsea’s training facilities and is eager to continue his development at the club.
