Port Orchard FC head coach Patrick Leonard led the team to victory in the Cascadia Premier League Division 2 in 2023. Now, the Port Orchard FC men’s soccer club is gearing up for their 2024 season-opener at Kitsap Bank Stadium against the Tacoma Stars Reserves, with kickoff at 3 p.m.

After winning the CPL 2 championship in their first season, Port Orchard earned promotion to the league’s first division. Their undefeated 12-0 season culminated in a thrilling 4-2 victory over Nido Aguila 2 in Puyallup. With Leonard returning for his second season as head coach, Port Orchard is ready to take on Tacoma in the first of eight league matches.

The team’s schedule includes matchups against Sporting International, Eastside FC, Washington Premier FC, and more. Additionally, there are home friendlies against FC Inter and FC Oly. In a recent friendly against Steel United, former Bremerton High School player Nick Riders scored the game-winning goal.

As the club prepares for an exciting season, fans are eager to see if Port Orchard FC can replicate their previous success in the Cascadia Premier League and continue to dominate on the field with their talented squad and skilled coaching staff led by Leonard.
