The San Leandro Police Department is asking for the community’s help in locating a missing 68-year-old woman named Hongwei Yan. She was last seen near her home on the 1700 Block of Clarke Street in San Leandro at approximately 7:15 a.m. on Friday. Yan is known to have mental health-related illnesses.
As an Asian woman with grey hair and who speaks Mandarin, Yan may be carrying Chinese currency, specifically Yuan or Renminbi, with her. If you have any information about Yan’s whereabouts, please contact the San Leandro Police Department.
