Last week, MOD Pizza in North Cornwall Township unexpectedly closed its doors at its 1501 Quentin Road location. The chain, based in Bellevue, Washington, has shut down more than two dozen stores this year following the appointment of a new CEO, Beth Scott. According to a spokesperson for the company, the decision to close the North Cornwall Township location was due to financial reasons.

Rick Van Warner, the MOD spokesperson, stated that the Lebanon restaurant had been underperforming for some time and led to its closure. All employees received severance pay as a result of the closure. Currently, there are no further plans for the other two MOD Pizza locations in Lancaster located at 158 Fruitville Pike and 120 Rohrerstown Road.

This news is certainly shocking and saddening for many customers who frequent this popular pizza chain. However, it is important to remember that businesses sometimes have to make tough decisions to ensure their long-term viability.
