This week, Pinehurst Elementary School held a science fair where students showcased demonstrations of natural disasters. The exhibits included landslides, sand and dust storms, thunderstorms, and volcano eruptions. The students were thrilled to share their knowledge with school staff and families, showcasing their learning.

The winners of the science fair were announced for the third grade. In Torrie Stutzke’s class, Camilla Bowman took first place, followed by Sophia Frank in second place, and Owen Norris in third place. Felicia Beehner’s class had Skylee Straw in first place, Kenadee Schultz in second place, and Emrys Pierce in third place. Lastly, Deborah Diedrich’s class had Rori Pileggi in first place, Orion Swanson in second place, and Daisy Gust in third place.

Among the exhibits, Owen Norris presented a thunderstorm exhibit while Camilla Bowman showcased a volcano exhibition. The students put in a lot of effort into their projects and saw their hard work pay off during the science fair.
