In the municipal and regional elections held in Italy, counting started at 2 pm. A total of 3,716 municipal administrations were renewed, including 29 capitals. The Piedmont regional election saw Alberto Cirio from the Opinio Italia Consortium for Rai receive 55.7% of the votes, making him the leading center-right candidate. He received congratulatory calls from various politicians, recognizing his success in the election.

In other municipal elections, Massimo Zedda from the center-left Campo Largo won in Cagliari, while Carlo Masci from the center-right was re-elected as mayor of Pescara. Luca Salvetti, also from the center-left, celebrated his re-election as mayor of Livorno. In Rovereto, Giulia Robol became the first female mayor in the history of the city.

The center-left confirmed mayoral victories in various other cities, including Bergamo, Modena, Cesena, Pesaro, and Prato. On the other hand, the center-right held onto the mayorship in Ferrara, Ascoli Piceno
