To address this issue, the Phoenix chapter of The Links, Incorporated is hosting the Black Wellness Family Expo. This event aims to educate people about their diagnosis and promote awareness of different health conditions, including breast and prostate cancer, kidney disease, and heart health. Free health screenings, mammograms, car seat safety checks, as well as access to healthcare information and services will be available at the event. The expo will take place at South Mountain Community College near 24th Street and Baseline Road, with a free lunch provided for participants.
