Philadelphia-area sports radio legend Howard Eskin has been banned from Citizens Bank Park for the rest of the season, following an investigation into an unwanted advance he made towards a female Aramark employee at the ballpark in May. The 73-year-old Eskin, who is known as SportsRadio 94 WIP’s original sports talker, reportedly gave her an unwanted kiss, leading to the investigation.

Audacy, the parent company of WIP-FM where Eskin works, confirmed the incident and stated that they take such matters seriously. The ban was proposed by Audacy, and Eskin was sitting in the exclusive area behind home plate when the incident occurred.

Eskin has hosted nearly 7,000 shows on WIP, setting a record as the most prolific sports talker in the country. Despite his ban from Citizens Bank Park, fans can still catch his show on WIP-FM. For now, however, it remains to be seen whether this will affect his longstanding relationship with the station and its parent company.

The Phillies are currently away facing the Chicago Cubs and will not return home to Citizens Bank Park until July 9th when they host the Los Angeles Dodgers in a highly anticipated series. To stay updated on all things Fastball FanNation coverage follow us on Facebook and Twitter @FastballFN.
