The PGA Championship has experienced a delay in the start of the second round due to a fatal accident near the course. The tournament officials released a statement indicating that the delay was caused by a serious accident in the vicinity of the course. They announced that an update would be provided at 12pm BST, and the starting time of the round would be at least one hour after the update is given.

Unfortunately, inclement weather is also expected to disrupt today’s play. A preliminary investigation by the Louisville Metro Police Department confirmed that a vehicle collision had occurred near Valhalla Golf Club. An adult male pedestrian was struck by a shuttle bus while crossing Shelbyville Road, resulting in fatal injuries. The LMPD Traffic Unit is currently investigating the incident.
