On Wednesday, the Patriots made an announcement regarding the signing of their fourth-round draft pick, Layden Robinson. The guard, who played for Texas A&M, agreed to a four-year rookie deal with the team. With his signing, the only remaining unsigned draft pick for the Patriots is second-round wide receiver Ja’Lynn Polk.

Robinson was a three-year starter at right guard for Texas A&M and was selected by the Patriots in April’s draft. He joins Caeden Wallace as draft additions to the team’s offensive line. In addition to the draft picks, the Patriots also have returning guards from last year’s line including Cole Strange, Sidy Sow, and Atonio Mafi. The team also signed former Buccaneer Nick Leverett as a free agent.

The offensive line of the Patriots is taking shape with the addition of Robinson and Wallace along with the returning guards from last year’s roster. The team is looking to strengthen its offense for the upcoming season and the signings of these players are a step in that direction. With only one draft pick left to sign, the Patriots are making progress in finalizing their 2022 roster.
