Deborah Sherer, a tireless advocate for organ donors and their families, has spent years working to raise awareness about the importance of this lifesaving practice. Her efforts have not gone unnoticed, as she maintains close ties with bereaved families who have donated organs during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. These families have saved thousands of lives through their heroic act, but often go unrecognized by the public, leading to deteriorating economic situations for some of them.

As Passover approached, Sherer reached out to her personal friends and various organizations in the Israeli economy to collect food packages for these families. Despite facing numerous challenges in her work, Sherer remains committed to making a difference in the lives of those who have made such significant contributions to society. Through her dedication and compassion, she is providing a source of relief and support to these overlooked heroes who have given so much to others without expecting anything in return.
