Panthers first-round receiver Xavier Legette is currently sidelined from minicamp due to a lingering hamstring injury. The team is taking a cautious approach towards his recovery and return, with coach David Canales emphasizing the importance of not rushing the process and risking further injury.

Although Legette missed a majority of organized team activities due to his injury, Canales assured that it is not more serious than initially thought. If there was a game this week, Legette would likely be practicing and preparing, but the team is focused on getting him fully healthy for the upcoming season.

During his final season at the University of South Carolina, Legette had an impressive 71 catches for 1,255 yards and seven touchdowns. The Panthers have high hopes for Legette and are taking the necessary precautions to ensure he is fully recovered and ready to contribute when the regular season begins.
