The Ozark Regional Library has recently received a grant from the Missouri State Library to upgrade its technology. This grant will allow the library to replace older computers and enhance meeting room technology. Specifically, the grant will be used to purchase ten new computers to replace outdated ones at each library location. Additionally, SmartBoards will be installed in the meeting rooms at the Fredericktown and Ironton branches, along with a document camera to improve presentation capabilities. An extra staff printer will also be added to increase staff efficiency.

The total grant award for this project is $14,169.00, which will greatly benefit the library and its patrons. The funding for this project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Sciences, which is the primary source of federal support for the nation’s libraries and museums. This partnership will help the Ozark Regional Library continue to provide valuable resources to the community and enhance the overall library experience for all.
