On Sunday, March 3, 2024, Jamie Foxx attended the AAFCA Special Achievement Awards luncheon in Los Angeles. Despite a health crisis that hospitalized him for 20 days in April 2023 while filming the Netflix film “Back in Action” in Atlanta, Foxx is now on the road to recovery.
In a video posted to TikTok, Foxx shared that he had a bad headache on April 11, 2023, which led to his hospitalization. However, he was guarded in sharing information about his health crisis and didn’t disclose any details about what happened to him during his time in the hospital. In July 2023, Foxx explained that he chose not to disclose more information about his health crisis because he didn’t want the public to see him in that vulnerable state. Instead, he wanted to be seen as his usual self, full of laughter and joy.
Foxx shared another health update in August 2023, expressing gratitude for the support and well wishes he received during his recovery. Despite everything that happened to him during his health crisis, Foxx seems determined to get back on track and continue making movies.
