Oura Health has filed a patent and copyright lawsuit against Ultrahuman Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. The Finnish company emphasized the importance of moving forward with both legal actions simultaneously, as they address different aspects of the alleged infringement.

Oura Ring maker stated that staying the suit is not appropriate as the International Trade Commission’s investigation involves the same patents but different issues. The company argued that it involves an additional patent and three copyrighted works that are not part of the ITC proceeding.

The Finnish company is committed to defending its innovations and maintaining its position in the market as a leading provider of smart ring products. Oura Health is confident in the merits of its legal claims and looks forward to a fair resolution of the dispute through court proceedings.
