Oregon’s recruiting efforts paid off this weekend as the Ducks received two big commitments from blue-chip prospects. First, 4-star defensive lineman Josiah Sharma committed to the team, ranked as the No. 230 player in the 2025 class and No. 28 at his position. Shortly after, 4-star running back Jordon Davison followed suit, committed to Oregon as well and ranked as the No. 96 player and No. 6 at his position in the class.

With these impressive commitments, Oregon moved up to No.13 in the 2025 recruiting rankings. Sharma’s addition to the roster will bring a physical presence to the interior defensive line with his size and strength, aligning perfectly with Oregon’s focus on recruiting big-bodied players for the trenches. Davison, on the other hand, will add speed and agility to the Ducks’ backfield next season.

Dan Lanning and his team have been working hard to attract top talent for their upcoming season, and these commitments are a testament to their success so far. With more recruiting still underway, it looks like Oregon is well on its way to building a strong roster for next year.
